    Pharmacodynamics:Included in the drug lactic acid bacteria normalize, maintain and regulate the physiological balance of the vaginal microflora.
    Indications:

    Treatment and prevention of vaginal dysbacteriosis and nonspecific inflammation of the vagina.

    Indications for use

    The preparation is intended for:

    - normalization of the vaginal microflora;

    - prevention and treatment of diseases caused by a violation of the balance of the vaginal microflora, including as a second stage of therapy of bacterial vaginosis, nonspecific vulvovaginitis, hormone-dependent colpitis;

    - prevention of postoperative infectious complications, in preparation for routine gynecological operations, diagnostic invasive procedures;

    - prevention of ascending infection in labor during the period of prenatal preparation;

    - recovery of vaginal microflora after systemic and local antibiotic therapy.

    Contraindications:

    Vaginal candidiasis.

    Pregnancy and lactation:The drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Therapeutic dose: 1 vaginal capsule 2 times a day for 6 days. If necessary, on the appointment of a doctor, the course of treatment is repeated.

    Prophylactic dose: 1 vaginal capsule at night for 3-7 days.

    Treatment and prevention should be performed before the expected menstruation or immediately after menstruation.

    Ecofemin without applicator: the vaginal capsule is injected with a finger as deep as possible into the vagina.

    Ecofemin with applicator: the vaginal capsule is placed on the tip of the applicator.

    The applicator with the capsule installed is inserted as deep as possible into the vagina. The inner tube of the applicator is advanced upward, the applicator is removed and discarded.
    Side effects:

    When used in recommended doses, side effects were not detected.

    Interaction:The drug can be used in combination with other medicines.

    Packaging:

    By 6 or 12 capsules in an aluminum pencil capped with a plastic stopper containing a desiccant. Each pencil box along with the instruction for use is placed in a cardboard box.
