Pharmacodynamics:Means of vegetable origin, contains an essential oil, which includes sesquiterpene compounds: betulenol, betulin, betulinic acid, caryophyllene; tannins, saponins, micro- and macroelements, flavonoids.
Has a diuretic, anti-inflammatory and weak antibacterial action.
Pharmacokinetics:Not studied.
Indications:It is used to treat edematic syndrome of cardiac and renal origin.

Contraindications:Acute glomerulonephritis, chronic renal failure, individual intolerance, children under 12 years.

Pregnancy and lactation:Recommendations for FDA - category is not defined. It is used with caution during pregnancy and lactation in cases where the intended benefit exceeds the risk to the fetus and newborn.
Dosing and Administration:1 tablespoon of dry raw materials (10 g) pour 1 cup boiling water (200 ml) in enameled dishes, close the lid and insist on boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool to room temperature, drain. The resulting infusion dilute with boiled water to 200 ml. Shake before use.
Inside in the form of infusion of 1-2 tablespoons 3 times a day, half an hour before meals.
The highest daily dose: 90 ml (6 tablespoons).
Side effects:Allergic reactions.
Overdose:Cases of overdose are not described.
Treatment is symptomatic.
