Description:A mixture of pieces of stems, leaves and flowers. The color is brownish green with purple, white, brown and pink impregnations. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-spicy, slightly astringent.

Pharmacodynamics:

Infusion of oregano has an expectorant, choleretic, diuretic, soothing effect.Strengthens the peristalsis of the intestine and increases the secretion of gastric juice, has moderate antimicrobial properties.

Oregano grass contains essential oil, tannins, flavonoids and other biologically active substances.

Indications:

Diseases of the upper respiratory tract (acute and chronic bronchitis, ARVI); secretory deficiency of the gastrointestinal tract, atony of the intestine, enterocolitis, accompanied by constipation and flatulence.

Outer - in the form of lotions and baths for pustular skin diseases and diathesis.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug. When administered orally - pregnancy, children's age (under 18 years).

Dosing and Administration:

4 filter packs (6.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Infusion is used: inside - 1/4 - 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day for 15 minutes before meals, externally - in the form of baths or lotions. The course of treatment is 1-2 weeks.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.
