Echinacea VILAR - instructions for use, dose, side effects, contraindications

Echinacea VILAR® juice has immunomodulatory (stimulates antibody formation,significantly increases the proliferative activity of lymphocytes, stimulates the functional activity of phagocytic cells) and anti-inflammatory action. Stimulates bone marrow hematopoiesis, resulting in an increase in the number of leukocytes and cells of the reticulo-endothelial system of the spleen. Activates mainly cellular immunity, stimulates the phagocytic activity of macrophages and chemotaxis of granulocytes, promotes the release of cytokines, increases the production of interleukin-1 by macrophages, accelerates the transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells, enhances antibody formation and T-helper activity. Increases the nonspecific resistance of the body (including the pathogens of influenza and herpes). Has a capillary-protector action.

Indications:

The drug is used in adults and children over 12 years as an immunostimulating agent to enhance the nonspecific immune response in cases of frequently recurring acute inflammatory processes or exacerbations of chronic respiratory and urinary tract diseases, as well as in other diseases accompanied by a decrease in the body's immune status.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, progredient systemic diseases (tuberculosis, leukemia, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection), bronchial asthma, autoimmune diseases, children under 12 years.

Carefully:Liver diseases, alcoholism, traumatic brain injury, brain diseases, diabetes mellitus.

Pregnancy and lactation:

During pregnancy and during breastfeeding, the drug should be used only in consultation with the doctor in charge.

Dosing and Administration:

Echinacea VILAR® juice is prescribed for adults and children over 12 years old after eating with a small amount of water. In the acute period of the disease (the first 3-5 days) - 30-40 drops per reception 3-4 times a day; in the future - 20-30 drops per reception up to 3-4 times a day for 2 weeks. The maximum single dose is 60 drops (3 ml), the maximum daily dose is 240 drops (12 ml).

Duration of treatment is determined by the patient's condition and, if necessary, can be prolonged up to 1-1.5 months in agreement with the attending physician.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible, sometimes chills, hyperemia.

Overdose:

Acute poisoning and an overdose are unlikely.

To date, cases of overdose have not been reported.

Interaction:

Possible simultaneous use with antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents. Do not take the drug within 3 days after the end of the course of treatment with cephalosporin derivatives (cefamandol, cefotetan, cefmenoxime, cefoperazone, moxalates).

The drug is incompatible with immunosuppressors.

Special instructions:

The maximum daily dose of the drug (240 drops) contains 1.8 g of absolute alcohol, in the maximum single dose (60 drops) contains 0.45 grams of absolute alcohol.

During the period of application of the drug, care should be taken when carrying out potentially dangerous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work, etc.).

To 50 ml in bottles of orange glass, sealed with plastic caps and closed with caps screwed on plastic.

To 50 ml in bottles of glass made of brown glass, ukuporennyh plastic caps with a dropper. To 50 ml in imported bottles of dark glass with a screw mouth, closed with a plastic cap screwed on with a control ring, equipped with a gasket.

Each vial with instructions for medical use and with a plastic measuring cup or plastic spoon is placed in a pack of cardboard for consumer containers.
