Ervah woolly grass - instructions for use, dose, side effects, contraindications

Pieces of inflorescences, leaves, stems and roots, passing through a sieve with holes 5 mm in size. The color is whitish-gray with individual green pieces of leaves. The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is bitter with a sensation of mucous.

Pharmacodynamics:

Erva woolly grass contains flavonoids, sterols, phenolic acids, macro- and microelements.

Infusion of herb wool grass has a diuretic, as well as a moderate anti-inflammatory effect. At the same time, elimination of sodium and calcium ions and, to some extent, of potassium ions was noted.When using the drug, there is also a tendency to decrease the urea content in the blood serum.

Indications:

As part of complex therapy in adults as a diuretic with a moderately pronounced edematous syndrome, infectious and inflammatory diseases of the kidneys (pyelonephritis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug. Osteoporosis, diseases accompanied by increased excretion of calcium from the body, including hypoparathyroidism, rickets, renal osteodystrophy. Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.

Dosing and Administration:

About 5 g (1 tablespoon) of ground grass are placed in enamel or glassware, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, then cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, raw materials squeeze out. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

It is possible to prepare the infusion in a thermos: 5 g of herbs pour 200-250 ml of steep boiling water and insist for 1 hour.

Take inside in a warm form on 1/4 -1/2 glasses 2-3 times a day for 15 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is from 10 to 30 days.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, nausea are possible.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.

Not described.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

Infusion of erva woolly does not affect the management of vehicles and the employment of potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Prepared water extraction - in a dark cool place no more than 2 days. Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life:

3 years.
