Ervah woolly grass - instructions for use, dose, side effects, contraindications

Pieces of leaves, stems, roots and part of the inflorescence, whole seeds. Color greenish with green, light brown, whitish yellow and rarely white patches. The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is bitterish with a sensation of mucus.

Pharmacodynamics:

Ervah woolly grass contains flavonoids, phenolic acids and other biologically active substances.

Infusion of herb wool grass has a diuretic, as well as a moderate anti-inflammatory effect.At the same time, elimination of sodium and calcium ions and, to some extent, of potassium ions was noted. When using the drug, there is also a tendency to decrease the urea content in the blood serum.

Indications:

As part of complex therapy in adults as a diuretic with a moderately pronounced edematous syndrome, infectious and inflammatory diseases of the kidneys (pyelonephritis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug; osteoporosis; diseases accompanied by increased excretion of calcium from the body, including hypoparathyroidism, rickets, renal osteodystrophy. Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children's age (under 18 years).

Dosing and Administration:

About 5 grams (2 tablespoons) of wool grass is placed in enameled dishes, poured 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed . The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

It is possible to prepare the infusion in a thermos: about 5 g (2 tablespoons) of the erva of wool grass is poured into 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water and it is insisted for 1 hour.

Take inside in a warm form for 1 / 4-1 / 2 cup 2-3 times a day for 15 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is from 10 to 30 days.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, nausea are possible.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.

The drug has no effect on the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).
