    Pharmacodynamics:

    Erva woolly (grass half-fallen) - a two-year herbaceous plant, a tropical weed of the amaranth family. As a medicinal raw material, the whole plant is used together with the root. Contains up to 1.12% flavonoids - acylglycosides of kaempferol and isoramnetin: tylirizide, coumaroyl-tylirizid, ervitrin, narcissin; phenolic acids (lilac, vanillin), feruloylamides (feruloylthiramine, feruloyl homovanililamine), xanthine and carboline alkaloids (ergine, methyl-quin, ervozid, ervolanin, b-carboline-1-propionic acid), triterpenoids, lupeol and oleanolic acid derivatives, pectin substances (3 , 25-4.85%). Apply in the form of infusion as a uricosuric, diuretic, saluretic, hypoazotemic and anti-inflammatory drug in diseases of the urinary tract.The presence in the plant raw material of a significant amount of potassium nitrate allows attributing this remedy to potassium-sparing diuretics.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Recommendations for FDA - Category B. It is used during pregnancy. There is no evidence of ingestion in breast milk, it is contraindicated during lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside in the form of infusion for 15 minutes before meals, 50-100 ml 2-3 times a day through the tube to exclude contact with the enamel of the teeth. Duration of treatment is 10-30 days. Infusion is prepared at home: 200 ml of boiled water 1 teaspoon (5 g) of herbs. Heat on a water bath in enamel ware for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool for 45 minutes, squeeze, dilute the resulting infusion with boiled water, bring the total to 200 g.

    Preparation in a thermos: pour 250 ml of boiling water 5 g of grass and infuse for 1 hour.

    The highest daily dose: 300 ml.

    Side effects:

    Nausea, tooth decay, allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not described.

    Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Clinically significant interactions are not described.

    Special instructions:

    It is not recommended that the drug be treated with bone fractures and lack of calcium in the body.
