Composition:

Active substance: lignin hydrolyzed (in terms of 100% substance) - 400 mg,

auxiliary substances: povidone K17 (polyvinylpyrrolidone) 41 mg, calcium stearate 4 mg, croscarmellose sodium 5 mg.

Description:Tablets of dark brown color, with grayish-brown impregnations of a biconvex capsuloid form with a risk.

Pharmacodynamics:

Filtrum®-STI is a natural enterosorbent consisting of products of hydrolysis of wood components - lignin polymer, the structural elements of which are derivatives of phenylpropane and hydrocellulose.

It has high sorption activity and nonspecific detoxification.

Binds and removes from the body pathogenic bacteria and bacterial toxins, drugs, poisons, heavy metal salts, alcohol, allergens, as well as an excess of certain metabolic products, including bilirubin,cholesterol, urea, metabolites, responsible for the development of endogenous toxicosis.

Pharmacokinetics:

Not toxic, not absorbed, completely eliminated from the intestine within 24 hours.

Indications:

As a detoxification agent in adults and children with exogenous and endogenous intoxications of various origins:

- Acute poisoning with drugs, alkaloids, heavy metal salts, alcohol and other poisons;

- complex treatment of food toxic infections, salmonellosis, dysentery, dyspepsia;

- purulent-inflammatory diseases, accompanied by severe intoxication;

- Hyperbilirubinemia and hyperaemia (hepatic and renal insufficiency);

- food and drug allergies;

- prevention of chronic intoxication in workers of harmful industries.

Contraindications:

Individual intolerance to the drug. It is not desirable to use the drug for exacerbation of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, atony of the intestine.

Dosing and Administration:

Inside, preferably after pre-grinding, washing with water one hour before eating and taking other medicines.

The dose of the drug depends on the age, body weight and severity of the disease, the drug is taken 3-4 times a day, the average single dose is for children up to 1 year - 1/2 tablets; 1-3 years - 1 / 2-1 tablet; 4-7 years - 1 tablet, 7-12 years -1-2 tablets; for adults - 2-3 tablets.

If necessary, on the recommendation of the doctor, the daily dose can be increased to 20-30 g in 3-4 doses.

Duration of treatment for acute conditions is 3-5 days, with allergic diseases and chronic intoxications up to 14-21 days. Repeated courses of treatment 2 weeks after the doctor's recommendation.

Side effects:

Rarely - allergic reactions, constipation.

Long-term use can lead to a violation of absorption of vitamins, calcium, and therefore recommended the preventive intake of multivitamins and calcium preparations.

Interaction:

It is possible to reduce the therapeutic effect of some concurrently taken medications.

Special instructions:

The drug can be used in complex therapy with other medicines, subject to the rule of separate admission.

Form release / dosage:Tablets 400 mg.

Packaging:

For 10 or 15 tablets in a contour mesh box made of polyvinylchloride film and aluminum foil printed lacquered.For 1, 2 or 5 contour packs of 10 tablets or 2 or 4 contour packs of 15 tablets together with the instructions for use are placed in a pack of cardboard.

Storage conditions:In a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C.

Shelf life:2 years. Do not use after the time specified on the package.
