    Composition:

    Active ingredient: Ginseng present root extract is dry standardized (G115) * with a native extract content of 43.5 mg, which corresponds to 4.0 mg (± 10%) of the sum of ginsenosides 100,000 mg.

    Excipients:Lecithin 100,000 mg; lecithin soybean 5,000 mg; wax mixture ** 52,999 mg; rapeseed oil 140,900 mg; ethylvaniline 1,100 mg.

    Capsule shell: gelatin 160.180 mg; glycerol 85% 49.730 mg; ferric dye oxide black (E172) 2,240 mg; ferric dye oxide red (E172) 0.930 mg; ethylvaniline 0.750 mg; anhydrizor 85 / 70.85% *** 33.880 mg.

    * Each 100.0 mg of the ginseng of the present roots of the dry, standardized (G115) extract (producing plant - Panax ginseng SAAmeyer family Araliaceae) contains 43.5 mg of native ginseng extract, which corresponds to 4.0 mg (± 10%) sums of ginsenosides, as well as inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate 54,500 mg (Hebrew Pharm.) and silicon dioxide colloid 2,000 mg (Hebrew Pharm.). Extractant for obtaining the extract is 40% alcohol.

    Ratio of vegetable raw materials: extract - 5: 1.

    Description:

    Soft gelatin capsules are oblong, opaque, brown with a smooth shiny surface with a seam along the entire length.The contents of the capsule are a homogeneous mass of light brown color with a barely perceptible characteristic odor.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Ginsana® is a herbal preparation containing ginseng of the present roots. The extract is dry, standardized (G 115). Pharmacological properties of the drug are due to the content of biologically active substances of the extract, ginseng - saponin glycosides-ginsenosides (panaxosides) and other biologically active substances.

    The complex of biologically active substances of the extract of ginseng has a metabolic, biostimulating, general toning effect. The drug stimulates the central nervous system, reducing overall, weakness, fatigue, drowsiness; increases mental and physical performance, has hypertensive and hypoglycemic effects.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Since the standardized ginseng extract of the present roots (G 115) is a complex extract, in which more than 200 different substances are released, its action is the cumulative effect of its components.Since the activity of the drug can not be fully attributed to any single compound, pharmacokinetic studies of the whole product are difficult.

    The main active components of the ginseng extract are ginsenosides, absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, 0.2% -1.5% of the metabolites of the main active components of the extract is excreted in the urine.

    Indications:

    To increase physical and mental performance, with exhaustion, fatigue, weakening of the body and loss of concentration, as well as in the period of convalescence.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the drug components, including an allergy to soy and peanuts in history, hypertension, increased excitability, epilepsy, convulsions, sleep disorders, hemorrhage; febrile syndrome on the background of acute infectious diseases, chronic liver disease; children under 12 years.

    The composition of the drug includes lactose, and therefore it is not recommended to appoint patients with congenital galactosemia, glucose / galactose malabsorption syndrome, or with congenital lactase deficiency.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, with food, washing with water.

    Adults: 2 capsules at breakfast or 1 capsule at breakfast and lunch (daily dose of 2 capsules per day). In severe stress conditions at the beginning of treatment, the daily dose can be increased to 4 capsules per day.

    Children over 12 years: daily dose - 1 capsule per day.

    The course of treatment is 1-2 months.

    The need to appoint a second course of treatment is determined by the doctor.

    Side effects:

    Possible allergic reactions, excitation, nervousness, increased blood pressure, hypoglycemia; rarely - tachycardia, sleep disorders, headache, nasal bleeding, and moderately expressed transient gastrointestinal reactions (nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea).

    If any of the side effects indicated in the manual are aggravated, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, tell your doctor.

    Overdose:Symptoms: increased blood pressure, insomnia. Treatment: symptomatic.
    Interaction:

    Enhances the effect of stimulants and analeptics (including caffeine, camphor, phenamine and others), the drug is a physiological antagonist of drugs that depress the central nervous system, including barbiturates, tranquilizers, sedatives, antipsychotics. Enhances the effect of hypoglycemic drugs. Enhances the effect of anticoagulants.

    Special instructions:

    The drug should not be used in the afternoon to avoid sleep disturbances.

    There is a clearly pronounced seasonality of action: application in autumn and winter is most effective.

    It is not observed and is not supposed a syndrome of "cancellation" when taking Ginsana® in capsules.

    Special instructions for use in the elderly are not available.

    Special measures when skipping one or more doses of the drug is not required. If a patient once or several times misses a drug, you should continue taking the drug at the recommended scheme in the instructions, not doubling the dose.

    Special precautions are not required when destroying an unused medicinal product.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The drug does not affect the performance of potentially hazardous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher / operator work, etc.).

    Packaging:

    4 capsules in a PVC / Laminated A blisterl-Folga. 1 blister together with the instruction for use is placed in a package of aluminum-paper composite, foil. 10 capsules in a blister of PVC / laminated Al-Folga. 3 blisters together with instructions for use are placed in a cardboard pack.
