    Pharmacodynamics:

    Has an anti-inflammatory, moderate expectorant effect, stimulates the function of the adrenal cortex.

    Indications:

    Diseases of the respiratory tract with hard to separate sputum, including mild forms of bronchial asthma (as part of complex therapy). Allergic dermatitis, eczema, Addison's disease [diencephalic-pituitary forms,alone and in combination with adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)], asthenic conditions and hypotonic syndrome, hypofunction of the adrenal cortex against prolonged therapy with glucocorticosteroids, including the prevention of withdrawal syndrome during the cessation of treatment with glucocorticosteroids or reduction in their dosage.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe organic damage to the heart and parenchymal organs, impaired liver and kidney function, age to 5 months, lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Not applicable. The drug is intended for use in children under 10 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, 30 minutes after meals in the form of an aqueous solution, which is prepared before use by dissolving the contents of one packet (1.3 g) in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of warm boiled water (single dose).

    The drug is prescribed to children according to age: from 5 months to 3 years - 2 times a day; from 3 to 5 years - 3 times a day; from 5 to 10 years - 3-4 times a day.

    The course of treatment is from 3 to 30 days.Repeated courses are possible upon agreement with the doctor. Children over 10 years of glycyrs are prescribed in dosage form 50 mg tablets.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. In these cases, the drug should be discontinued.

    If any of the side effects listed in the manual are aggravated, or you notice any other side effects, not specified in the instructions, inform the doctor about it.

    Overdose:

    Possible impaired liver function.

    Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    It is possible to strengthen the effect of drugs that stimulate the function of the adrenal cortex.

    Special instructions:

    Patients with diabetes and people on a diet with a low carbohydrate diet should take into account that one package contains about 1.22 g carbohydrates (0.1 XE).
