    Composition:

    One tablet contains:

    of the active substance: gramicidin C dihydrochloride (in terms of gramicidin C) 0.0015 g (1500 ED);

    Excipients: sucrose (sugar) 0.2888 g, mannitol 0.2888 g, giprolose 0.004 g, calcium stearate 0.018 g.

    Description:

    Tablets are white or white with a yellowish tint of color, with a characteristic odor, a flat-cylindrical shape with a facet and a risk.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antibacterial preparation for topical application in the oral cavity and pharynx. Has a pronounced antimicrobial effect. In high concentrations bactericidal effect on the majority of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms-causative agents of infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx.

    Increases the permeability of the membrane of the microbial cell, which breaks its stability and causes death.The preparation practically does not cause habituation of microorganisms sensitive to it. With resorption increases salivation, facilitating the purification of the oropharynx from microorganisms and inflammatory exudate.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Due to low systemic absorption, there is no data on the pharmacokinetics of Grammidine ®.

    Indications:

    Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat: acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis (tonsillitis), periodontal disease, gingivitis, stomatitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug components, lactation period, children under 4 years of age (for this dosage form), sucrose / isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

    Pregnancy.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Pregnant women should consult a doctor before using the drug. Use of the drug is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus.

    For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Grammidine® tablets are applied after meals, by resorption in the mouth, without chewing.Immediately after using the drug should refrain from eating food and drink for 1-2 hours.

    Children from 4 to 6 years: 1 tablet 3-4 times a day.

    Children from 6 to 12 years: 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day (but not more than 7 tablets per day).

    Children over 12 years and adults: 2 tablets (one after another for 20-30 minutes) 4 times a day.

    The course of treatment: 5-6 days.

    If there is no therapeutic effect, it is recommended to consult a doctor within 6 days of taking the drug.

    Side effects:In some cases, allergic reactions to the components of the drug are possible.
    Overdose:

    Symptoms: taking doses that exceed the recommended ones can cause disturbances in the gastrointestinal tract due to changes in bacterial flora and superinfection, characteristic of overdose of other antibiotics: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

    Treatment: In case of an overdose accompanied by the appearance of the above symptoms, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor.

    Interaction:

    Grammidine® enhances the effects of other antimicrobial agents of local and systemic action.

    Special instructions:

    Do not use Gramdin® in the presence of individual increasedsensitivity to any component included in its composition.

    The drug does not affect the performance of potentially hazardous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work, etc.).

    Form release / dosage:

    Tablets for resorption, 1.5 mg.

    Packaging:

    For 10 tablets in a contour mesh box made of polyvinylchloride film and aluminum foil printed lacquered.

    2 contour mesh packaging along with the instructions for use are placed in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    In a place protected from light and moisture, at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.
