Camphor oil - instructions for use, doses, side effects, contraindications

The drug has antiseptic, local irritating, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, excites sensitive nerve endings, reflexively improves trophism of organs and tissues.

Pharmacokinetics:

When absorbed from the skin surface camphor partially oxidized. The products of its oxidation combine with glucuronic acid and are excreted by the kidneys. Part of the camphor is released unchanged in the form of respiratory tract and bile.

Indications:

Myalgia, myositis, sciatica, prevention of bedsore formation.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, violation of the integrity of the skin, inflammatory skin diseases at the site of the intended application (including dermatitis, eczema).

Carefully:Pregnancy, lactation, children's age.

Dosing and Administration:

Outer, applied to affected and painful skin areas 2-3 times a day. Duration of treatment is 7-10 days.

Side effects:

Allergic skin reactions (urticaria); skin irritation; headache, dizziness.

Overdose:

Excitation, tachycardia, convulsions. Treatment: symptomatic therapy.

Form release / dosage:

Solution for external use oil 10%.

Packaging:

For 30, 50 or 100 ml of the drug in the bottles of orange glass, sealed with stoppers, plastic caps and caps screwed with plastic. Each bottle is placed in a pack of cardboard, on which the full text of the instruction for medical use is written.

Vials of 30, 50 or 100 ml, together with the corresponding number of instructions for medical use, are placed in a group container.

Storage conditions:
