It has a local irritating, antiseptic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Excites sensitive nerve endings, reflexively improves the trophism of organs and tissues.

Pharmacokinetics:

When absorbed from the skin surface camphor partially oxidized. Camphor oxidation products are combined with glucuronic acid and excreted by the kidneys. Part of the camphor is released unchanged in the form of respiratory tract and bile.

Indications:

Myositis, myalgia, sciatica, prevention of decubitus formation.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, violation of the integrity of the skin or inflammatory skin diseases at the site of the intended application (including dermatitis, eczema); propensity to convulsive reactions; pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age.

Pregnancy and lactation:

The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated (due to the lack of special studies).

Dosing and Administration:

Outwardly. Myositis, myalgia, sciatica: Apply to the skin over the affected area 2-3 times a day. Duration of treatment is 7-10 days.

Prophylaxis for the formation of pressure sores: treatment of the skin 2-3 times a day.

Side effects:

Hives, skin irritation, headache, dizziness.

Overdose:

Symptoms: agitation, tachycardia, convulsions. Treatment: symptomatic.
