    Characteristic

    Columns with stigmas of corn contain sitosterol, stigmasterol, vitamins K and C, fatty oils, essential oil, carotenoids, saponins and other biologically active substances.

    Description:

    Threadlike pieces of stalks and stigmas of corn, passing through a sieve with holes measuring 7 mm. The color is brown, brownish-red, light yellow. The smell is weak, peculiar. Taste of water extract with a sensation of mucous.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Decoction of columns with stigmas of corn has a choleretic, diuretic and hemostatic effect. Promotes the excretion of small stones from the urinary tract.

    Indications:

    Chronic hepatitis, uncalculous cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia; edematous syndrome associated with impaired renal function, nephrourolythiasis.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug, choleliasis, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.
    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 grams (2 tablespoons) of stalks with stigmas are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed . The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Decoction take inside 1 to 3 tablespoons every 3-4 hours.

    It is recommended to stir the broth before use.

    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible.
    Overdose:

    To date, cases of overdoses have not been recorded.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:Decoction of stigmas with stigmas does not affect the management of vehicles and the employment of potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    Packaging:35 grams, 50 grams, 75 grams per pack of cardboard with an inner paper bag or with an inner bag of polypropylene. The full text of the instructions for use is applied to the pack.
    Storage conditions:
