Lime flowers - instructions for use, doses, side effects, contraindications

Powder. A mixture of particles of flowers, pedicels and bracts of limes of various shapes. The color is greyish-green or grayish-yellow with yellow, dark yellow, brown and dark brown patches. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of water extract is sweetish, slightly astringent, with a sensation of mucus.

Pharmacodynamics:

Lime flowers contain a complex of biologically active compounds: essential oils, flavonoids, polysaccharides, saponins, tannins, carotenoids, ascorbic acid, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

Infusion of linden flowers has a diaphoretic effect.

Indications:

Applied as a sweatshop for colds.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pollinosis.

Dosing and Administration:

Powder: 2 filter bags are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist for 15 minutes. Filter packs are squeezed out, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water to 200 ml. Take inside in hot form 1-2 glasses 2-3 times a day.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Allergic reactions are possible.
