A mixture of flowers, pedicels and pieces of bracts of various shapes passing through a sieve with apertures measuring 7 mm. Color petals whitish-yellow, sepals - greenish or yellowish-gray, bracts of leaves - light yellow or greenish-yellow. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of water extract is sweetish, slightly astringent, with a sensation of mucus.

Pharmacodynamics:

Lime flowers contain a complex of biologically active compounds: essential oils, flavonoids, polysaccharides, saponins, tannins, carotenoids, ascorbic acid and other biologically active substances.

Infusion of linden flowers has a diaphoretic effect.

Indications:

Acute respiratory viral infections (symptomatic treatment).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pollinosis.

Pregnancy and lactation:

The application is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

Dosing and Administration:

About 10 grams (3 tablespoons) of flowers are placed in glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take orally in hot form 2-3 times a day: adults and children over 16 years old - 1 - 2 cups; children from 13 to 16 years - 1 glass; children from 7 to 12 years - 1/2 cup; children from 3 to 6 years - 1/3 cup; children under 3 years - 1 to 2 tablespoons.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

To date, cases of overdoses have not been recorded.
