Composition:1 capsule contains as active substance 30 mg idebenone and auxiliary substances: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, potato starch, povidone (low molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone or plasdone), magnesium stearate.

The composition of the capsule shell: titanium dioxide, quinoline yellow, sunset yellow, methyl hydroxybenzoate, propylhydroxybenzoate, gelatin.

Pharmacodynamics:

Improves metabolic processes in the brain by activating the synthesis of glucose and ATP, improving the blood supply and oxygenation of brain tissue, promotes the excretion of lactates. Being an antioxidant, it slows down lipid peroxidation and thereby protects the membranes of neurons and mitochondria fromdamage.

Has nootropic properties with psychostimulating effect and neuroprotective action. Since the first days of taking the drug, anti-asthenic, psychostimulating and antidepressant effects are manifested. Nootropic and mnemotropic action is observed after 20-25 days of treatment.

Pharmacokinetics:Quickly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, the peak concentration in the blood is reached after 4 hours. The half-life is about 18 hours. Easily penetrates the blood-brain barrier in significant quantities and is distributed in the brain tissues. There is no cumulation even with prolonged use. Metabolized in the liver, excreted in urine and fecal masses.

Indications:

Psycho-organic syndrome caused by impaired cerebral circulation and age-related involuntary changes in the brain; cerebroasthenic disorders of vascular, traumatic, psychogenic (neurasthenia) and associated etiology, manifested in the form of: memory and / or attention impairment, decrease of intellectual productivity and general activity, emotional instability, asthenic,teno-depressive and moderately expressed depressive state, headache, dizziness, tinnitus.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the active substance idebenonu, chronic renal failure, children under 18 years (due to lack of data).

Dosing and Administration:Inside for 1 capsule (30 mg) 2-3 times a day after meals, it is recommended to take an evening reception no later than 17 hours. The duration of the course of therapy is 1.5-2 months. Repeated courses are recommended 2-3 times a year.

Side effects:Allergic reactions, falling asleep, mental agitation, headache, indigestion.

Overdose:Increased severity of side effects. Treatment: gastric lavage, reception of activated charcoal and symptomatic therapy.
