    Pharmacodynamics:

    Surface active siliceous agent with the properties of a defoamer. Eliminates gas bubbles in the intestines due to physical reduction of surface tension. The liberated gas is removed or absorbed naturally.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Not absorbed, elimination with feces unchanged.

    Indications:

    It is used to eliminate meteorism, with aerophagia, to prepare patients for sonographic, radiological and endoscopic studies of the intestine and stomach.Used as an antioxidant for poisoning with detergents containing surfactants (surfactants).

    Dosing and Administration:

    Children

    It is used internally from infancy.

    Newborns - 6 years: 10-15 drops 2-3 times / day during meals.

    6-15 years: 15-20 drops every 4-6 hours.

    15-18 years: 25-50 drops or 1-2 capsules after each meal and at bedtime.

    Adults

    Inside during or after a meal or at bedtime, 40 mg or 25-50 drops.

    The highest daily dose: 200 mg.

    The highest single dose: 40 mg.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not described.

    Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Clinically significant interactions are not described.

    Special instructions:

    The drug can be used by patients with diabetes, since it does not contain glucose.
