One tablet contains: active substance - simethicone * 42.0 mg; auxiliary substances: glyceryl monostearate, bitter fennel fruit essential oil, peppermint essential oil, caraway essential oil, dextrose, sucrose.

* - Simethicone consists of 97% dimethicone and 3% silicon dioxide.

Pharmacodynamics:

Reduces gas formation in the gastrointestinal tract.Active substance - simethicone, being a surface-active substance, hinders formation and promotes the destruction of gas bubbles. The gases released in this way can be absorbed by the walls of the intestine or removed from the body in a natural way, thanks to the intestinal peristalsis. Admission of the drug before the beginning of sonographic and radiographic studies prevents image defects caused by gas bubbles. Promotes better irrigation of the mucous membrane of the colon with contrast agents, preventing the rupture of the contrast film.

Pharmacokinetics:

Due to physical and chemical inertness simethicone It is not absorbed in the body, after passing through the gastrointestinal tract is excreted unchanged.

Indications:

Symptomatic therapy with:

- increased gas production and accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract:

■ flatulence, aerophagia,

■ Remeld's syndrome,

■ formation of gases in the postoperative period;

- preparation for diagnostic procedures of the abdominal and pelvic organs;

- prevention of foam formation during gastroscopy.

Contraindications:

- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the components of the drug;

- intestinal obstruction;

- obstructive diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;

- deficiency of sugar / isomaltase;

- intolerance to fructose;

- glucose-galactose malabsorption;

- children's age till 6 years.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Simethicone is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, so the drug Antiflat Lannacher can be used in pregnancy and lactation.

Dosing and Administration:

Inside, the tablets are chewed. Take the drug after a meal or together with a meal, you can with a small amount of liquid.

With increased gas generation and flatulence, adults: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day, if necessary, 1-2 tablets at night.

In preparation for diagnostic studies of the abdominal and pelvic organs in adults: 2-3 tablets after each meal - the day before the study, and 2-3 tablets on the morning of the day of the study.

For children older than 6 years, use half the dose for adults.

Side effects:In some cases - allergic reactions to the components of the drug.

Interaction:

Cases of drug interactions with other drugs have not been noted.

Special instructions:Chewable tablets contain 0.25 g of sucrose and 0.3 g of glucose in 1 tablet, which corresponds to 0.05 bread units.
