    Pharmacodynamics:

    Pharmacological properties

    The active component of the drug Diflatil for oral administration (further - Disfatil drops) - simethicone - is a silicon-containing compound with surface activity and defoaming properties.

    Thanks to its physico-chemical properties simethicone is a chemically and physiologically inert substance, a non-toxic and non-absorptive membrane of the cells of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. Simethicone destroys gas bubbles physically, changing their surface tension and, thereby, causing them to subside. Thanks to this property simethicone It is used in the symptomatic treatment of excess gas formation in the gastrointestinal tract. The released gas is then removed in a natural way.

    Indications:

    Disflatil drops are used for symptomatic treatment of all types of excessive gas formation and accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract: whipping, bloating, flatulence, including postoperative flatulence, aerophagia.The use of disfloathyl drops reduces the feeling of overflow and a feeling of tension in the abdomen.

    According to the doctor's prescription, Disflatil Drops is used to prepare for endoscopic, radiologic, ultrasound, sonographic studies of the stomach and / or intestines for the removal of gases and air from the gastrointestinal tract.

    Contraindications:

    1. Intestinal obstruction, accompanied by severe colic and vomiting. In these cases, you should immediately consult a doctor.

    2. Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Symptomatic treatment

    Adults: 25-50 drops, if possible, accompanying the reception of drops with a small amount of liquid, after each meal and at bedtime.

    Children aged 6 to 15 years: 25-50 drops, if possible, accompanying the reception of drops with a small amount of liquid, after each meal and at bedtime.

    Newborns and children under 6 years of age: 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day during meals (in a bottle for infants) or after eating.

    Prophylactic reception at preparation for the study of the stomach and / or intestines.

    50 drops 3-4 times a day for 2 days preceding the study, 50 drops in the morning, on an empty stomach, on the day of the study and 50 drops immediately before the test.

    Before use, the vial with drops should be shaken well!


    Side effects:

    Since the active component of Disf? Latil droplets - simethicone - is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is excreted from the body in an unchanged form, the drug is considered safe and has no side effects.

    Overdose:
    Until now, cases of excessive doses have not been reported.

    Special instructions:
    1. Receiving Disfalatil drops with diabetic patients.
    Disflatil droplets do not contain sugar. The drug contains a synthetic sweetener - sodium saccharinate. Therefore, the drug can be used by people with diabetes.
    2. Receiving of Disfatil drops during pregnancy and during lactation.
    Pregnant women and nursing mothers for reasons of caution should, if possible, generally refuse to take medications or consult a doctor.
    Special studies have not been conducted either on humans or animals.
    Because the active component of the drug - simethicone - is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is excreted unchanged,then the use of dysflavil drops during pregnancy does not affect the development of the fetus; during the period of breastfeeding the drug does not penetrate into the mother's milk.
    3. Receiving Disfatil Drops while working with mechanisms and driving vehicles. The drug does not have systemic effects on the body and can be used when driving vehicles and when working with mechanisms.
    4. Reception of Diflatil drops simultaneously with other medicines and food.
    No special precautions are required for the use of Diflatil Drops concomitantly with other medicines, as well as - food, including tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages.
    5. In case you suffer from other diseases, are prone to allergic reactions or take other medications (including those purchased on your own), it is necessary to consult your doctor in advance.
    6. With prolonged and repeated digestive disorders, it is necessary to establish the cause of these phenomena.
