    Composition:

    In 1 suppository contains:

    active substance: a standardized suspension of bacterial culture (SLE) E. coli 387.10 mg (6.6 x 108 (4.95 x 108 - 8.25 x 108) m. cl. E. coli, inactivated and conserved in 6.6 mg of liquefied phenol);

    Excipients: phenol liquefied 6.60 mg (in the composition of SLE) (corresponds to the content of phenol solid 6.0 mg), solid fat 1603.22 mg, macrogol glycerol hydroxy stearate 9.68 mg.

    Description:

    White or yellowish, torpedo-shaped suppositories with a characteristic smell of phenol. In the longitudinal section, homogeneous, without extraneous inclusions; The presence of an air-rod or a funnel-shaped depression is allowed.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Cell wall antigens and metabolic products of Escherichia coli in contact with the rectal mucosa and the skin of the anogenital region increase local tissue resistance to pathogenic microflora.

    The preparation stimulates T-cell lymphocyte immune system, increases the activity of leukocytes and phagocytic cells of the reticuloendothelial system, nonspecific immunity factors reduces exudation vessels during inflammation, normalises the tone and permeability of blood vessels, stimulating the regeneration of damaged tissues.

    Indications:

    Posterizan® rectal suppositories prescribed for adults (18 years) for the following diseases: anal itching, discharge, and a burning sensation in the anal area due to hemorrhoidal disease.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to phenol.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Can be used without risk during pregnancy and during lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Enter the anal passage of one suppository in the morning and evening, if possible after defecation.

    The recommended daily dose is 2 suppositories.

    Perhaps the combined use of rectal suppositories and Posterizan® Posterizan® ointment for rectal and topical.

    The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

    Side effects:

    Posterizan® does not have side effects even with prolonged use.

    As a preservative in the preparation is used phenol, so allergic reactions are possible in patients with hypersensitivity to this component, the development of which should be stopped.
