Pieces of stems, leaves and inflorescences passing through a sieve with apertures measuring 7 mm. Color grayish green. The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is bitterish.

Pharmacodynamics:

The motherwort herb contains essential oil, tannins, flavonoids (rutin, quercetin, hyperoside, etc.), iridoids, saponins, vitamin C, carotene, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

Herb infusion of motherwort has a pronounced sedative effect, has hypotensive properties, slows down the rhythm and increases the strength of heartbeats.

Indications:

Increased nervous excitability, sleep disturbance, neurasthenia, neurocirculatory dystonia.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, children under 12 years.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Application in the lactation period is possible after agreement with the attending physician.

Dosing and Administration:

9 g (2 tablespoons) of the herbs are placed in enameled dishes, poured 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath with frequent stirring for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed ; the resulting infusion is brought to boiling water to 200 ml.

Take inside 1/2 cup 3 times a day for 1 hour before meals.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Overdose:

To date, cases of overdose have not been reported.

Interaction:

Compatible with other sedatives; enhances the effect of hypnotics and other medications that depress the central nervous system.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

With prolonged use of the drug in large doses, it is possible to reduce the rate of psychomotor reactions, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Packaging:

For 30 grams, 50 grams per pack of cardboard with an inner bag of polyethylene or with an inner paper bag, or with an inner package of polypropylene together with instructions for use.

Storage conditions:

In a dry place protected from light.

Prepared water extraction - in a dark cool place no more than 2 days.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life:

3 years.

Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
