    Pharmacodynamics:Has keratolytic, antiseptic, local irritating and anti-inflammatory effect. Suppresses secretion of sebaceous and sweat glands.
    Pharmacokinetics:Not described.
    Indications:Oily seborrhea, chronic eczema, acne vulgaris, pityriasis lichen.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity; kidney failure; children's age (under 18 years).

    Dosing and Administration:Outwardly. Treat the affected area with an alcohol solution 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose for adults is 10 ml of a 2% solution or 20 ml of a 1% solution (corresponding to 0.2 g of salicylic acid), for children 1 ml of a 2% solution or 2 ml of a 1% solution (corresponding to 0.02 g of salicylic acid) . The course of treatment - no more than 1 week.
    Side effects:Possible individual intolerance, allergic reactions, including local (burning, itching, skin hyperemia).

    Interaction:
    Salicylic acid can increase the permeability of the skin to medicines for topical application and thereby increase their absorption.
    Sucked up salicylic acid can increase the side effects of methotrexate and oral hypoglycemic drugs, derivatives of sulfonylurea.
    The solution is pharmaceutically incompatible with resorcinol (forms melting mixtures) and zinc oxide (insoluble zinc salicylate).
    Special instructions:
    Do not apply the drug to birthmarks, hairy warts, warts in the genital area and face.
