    Description:A mixture of pieces of thin stems, leaves and flowers passing through a sieve with holes of 5 mm. Pieces of stems are tetrahedral, thin (up to 0.5 mm), greenish or yellowish brown, sometimes with a purple hue. The leaves are green or grayish-green, whole and in the form of pieces of various shapes. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-spicy.

    Pharmacodynamics:
    Infusion of herbs of thyme exposes an expectorant, antimicrobial effect. .

    Indications:
    In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia); locally for rinsing with inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis). - '

    Contraindications:
    Hypersensitivity to the drug, with oral administration: violations of the liver and / or kidneys, gastritis with high acidity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum; pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:
    About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of herb thyme placed in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, capped, and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled for 45 minutes at room temperature, 'filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
    Take inside 1 tablespoon 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. Locally, for rinsing the mouth and throats, apply 1 / 2-1 glasses of warm infusion 3-4 times a day.
