    Composition:Thyme Grass
    Description:
    A mixture of slices of thin stems, leaves and flowers passing through a sieve with holes of 2 mm in size. Color grayish-green or brownish-green with yellowish white, reddish-brown, light brown, often with a purple hue, bluish-violet, rosy violet, green and dark green patches. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-spicy.

    Infusion of herbs of thyme exposes an expectorant, antimicrobial effect. ...

    Indications:
    Infusion of herbs of thyme is used inside as an expectorant for inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract - laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia; locally - for rinsing with inflammatory diseases. Oral and pharyngeal cavities.

    Contraindications:
    Idiosyncrasy, liver or kidney disease, gastritis with high acidity, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer disease, pregnancy and breast-feeding, child up to 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:
    2 filter packs are placed in a glass or enamel ware,
    pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist
    15-20 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the obtained aqueous extract is brought to boiling water to 100 ml.
    Adults and children over 12 years old take in 1 tablespoon 2-3 times daily before meals.
    To rinse the mouth and pharynx, apply 1 / 2-1 glass of infusion 3-4 times a day in a warm form.
    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:
    Allergic reactions are possible; with an overdose - nausea.
