    Description:

    Pieces of leaves, stems, flowers and fruits of various shapes: the pieces of the stems are slightly ribbed, hollow in the internodes, weakly pubescent; pieces of leaves often with the remainder of the petiole; buds are obovate; individual obovate petals, pieces of peduncles; stamens; pieces of podiform,(fruit) and individual seeds (small, ovoid with a pitlike surface (under a magnifying glass), with a fleshy, white appendage) passing through a sieve with holes 7 mm in diameter. The color is greyish-green with yellow patches. The odor is peculiar. The taste is not determined.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The herb celandine contains alkaloids of the isoquinoline series (kottizin, chelidonin, cheeriritrin, sanguinarin, etc.); organic acids (chelidonic, citric, malic, amber); saponins; flavonoids; vitamins A, C (up to 1700 mg / 100 g); phenolic carboxylic acids (p-coumaric, coffee, ferulic); tannins (gallic acid); steroids (alfaspinsterol, traces of ergosterol), phytoncides; essential oil and other biologically active substances.

    Infusion of herbs celandine has a local anti-inflammatory effect.


    Indications:

    As a local anti-inflammatory drug in dermatology with skin diseases accompanied by itching (dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, etc.) - as part of complex therapy.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    To make infusion about 20 g (6 tablespoons), the herbs are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain through a double layer of gauze, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water. Apply externally in the form of baths (1-2 cup infusion of the bath), lotions (without dilution).

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Packaging:

    Grass shredded for 20g, 30g, 40g, 50g and 100g in cardboard packs with an inner package of paper, one-sided smooth paper, laminated paper; paper with a polyethylene coating and together with instructions for use. It is allowed to put the full text of instructions for use on the pack.

    Storage conditions:

    Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children. Infusion - in a cool place no more than 2 days.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.Do not use the drug after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
