    Composition:

    Description:

    Gustovataya liquid from yellow to yellow-brown color of a peculiar smell; possibly turbidity and precipitation.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The preparation of vegetable origin, exerts an expectorant, mucolytic and spasmolytic effect, due to the presence of saponins.

    Indications:

    As an expectorant for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and bronchial tubes, accompanied by a cough with hard-to-separate sputum.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Gedelix® syrup can not be taken with hereditary intolerance to fructose, arginine succinate synthetase deficiency.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Gedelix® syrup is not recommended for use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
    Dosing and Administration:

    If the doctor has not prescribed another dosage, Gedelix® should be taken orally (after a meal):

    The package contains a measuring spoon. 1 measuring spoon corresponds to 5 ml.

    Adults and adolescents Gedelix® should be taken undiluted.

    Thoracic and small children Gedelix® should be diluted in a small amount of water.

    The duration of the drug depends on the severity of the disease,but must be at least 7 days. After the disappearance of the symptoms of the disease is recommended to continue treatment with the drug for 2-3 days.

    Side effects:

    Possible allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, in rare cases - pain in the epigastric region.

    If any of the side effects listed in the manual are aggravated, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, tell your doctor.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis are possible.

    Treatment: withdrawal of the drug, symptomatic therapy.
    Interaction:

    The drug should not be used concomitantly with antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult for the diluted sputum to escape.

    Special instructions:

    In the absence of a curative effect against the background of taking the drug for 4-5 days or worsening the patient's condition (the appearance of attacks of choking, purulent sputum, an increase in temperature), you should immediately consult a doctor.

    Guidelines for patients with diabetes mellitus:

    Since Gedelix® does not contain sugar, it can be used by patients with diabetes mellitus.1 measuring spoon (5 ml) contains 1.75 g of sorbitol (corresponding to 0.44 g of fructose), which corresponds to 0.15 XE.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    Packaging:

    100 ml in bottles of dark glass with a jet plug made of polyethylene. Each vial is closed with a lid with a ring to control the first opening and together with the instruction for use and a measuring spoon made of polypropylene with divisions are placed in a cardboard box.
