    Composition:

    Per 1 ml:

    Active substance: ivy leaves extract dry (4-8: 1) ** - 7.0 mg.

    Excipients: sodium citrate dihydrate - 12.0 mg; citric acid monohydrate 5.3 mg; sorbitol (E 420) - 385.0 mg; potassium sorbate - 1.34 mg; gum xanthan - 1.2 mg; flavoring food "Cherry 667" - 0,125 mg; purified water - up to 1 ml.

    ** - Ivy of leaves extract dry (4-8: 1) is prepared from: ivy of ordinary leaves (Hedera helix L., family Aral (Araliaceae), folium) and ethanol 30% (extractant).
    Description:

    Transparent liquid of light brown color, with a characteristic smell. Light opalescence is allowed.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The preparation is of plant origin.Has an expectorant, mucolytic and bronchospasmolytic effect, due to the presence of saponins. Reduces the viscosity of sputum and promotes its spillage.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Since the preparation is a dry extract of ivy leaves and contains a complex of biologically active substances, it is not possible to carry out pharmacokinetic studies.

    Indications:

    As an expectorant in the complex therapy of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough and difficult to separate sputum.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug components, fructose intolerance, sugarase / isomaltase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Due to the lack of data on the safety of use of the drug by pregnant women and during breastfeeding, this group of patients is not recommended to take the drug.

    Dosing and Administration:

    If the doctor has not prescribed another dosage, the drug should be taken orally after eating.

    Children from 0-1 years old - 2.5 ml 2 times a day.

    Children from 1-6 years old - 2.5 ml 3 times a day.

    Children from 6-10 years old - 5 ml 3 times a day.

    Adults and children over 10 years of age - 5-7.5 ml 3 times a day.

    Dosage of the drug is done with a dosing spoon.

    The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually. The course of treatment is determined by the severity of the disease, the minimum course of treatment is 1 week. To fix the therapeutic effect, it is recommended that after the disappearance of the symptoms of the disease continue the therapy for another 2-3 days. If there is no improvement in the patient's condition, you should consult a doctor.

    Before each use, the bottle must be shaken carefully.

    Side effects:

    The drug is usually well tolerated, but diarrhea, abdominal pain, allergic reactions (dyspnea, angioedema, skin rash, hives, itching) can sometimes develop.

    If any adverse reactions occur, it is necessary to cancel the treatment and consult a doctor.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms: taking the drug in an amount exceeding three times the daily dose, can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

    Treatment: symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult to cough up thinned phlegm.

    Special instructions:

    If there is no effect on the background of drug treatment or deterioration of the condition within 7 days, you should consult a doctor.

    If the symptoms do not disappear or if there is shortness of breath, fever, and purulent or bloody phlegm in the throat, immediately consult a doctor.

    Patients with diabetes should take into account that 2.5 ml of syrup contain 0.963 g of sorbitol, which corresponds to 0.08 XE.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The use of the drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions (vehicle management, work with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work).

    Packaging:

    100 ml each in glass bottles with a screw neck made of brown glass, capped with screw covers and an opening control ring.

    The label is self-adhesive on the vial.

    Each bottle together with a dispensing spoon and instruction for medical use is placed in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    At a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    2 years.

    Shelf life after opening the bottle 90 days.
