    Composition:

    1 ml of the preparation contains:

    Active ingredient: Ivy leaves extract dry, extractant - ethanol 30% (5-7.5: 1) - 7,000 mg;

    Excipients: purified water - 566.66 mg; potassium sorbate - 1.34 mg; citric acid anhydrous - 0.50 mg; sorbitol liquid crystallizing - 550.00 mg; gum xanthan - 1.50 mg; flavoring cherry - 3,00 mg.

    Description:

    The syrup is light brown, slightly cloudy, with the smell of cherries.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Herbal remedy for cough. Has expectorant, mucolytic and bronchospasmolytic effect.

    Reduces the viscosity of sputum and promotes its spillage.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Since the preparation is a dry extract of ivy leaves and contains a complex of biologically active substances, it is not possible to carry out pharmacokinetic studies.

    Indications:

    As an expectorant in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with hard-to-recover sputum.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to drug components, sugarase / isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Due to the lack of data on the safety of the drug use by pregnant and lactating women, this group of patients is not recommended to take the drug.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside. Breast children (0-1 year) 2.5 ml 2 times a day. To small children (1-6 years) on 2,5 ml 3 times a day. Children of school age and adolescents 5 ml 3 times a day. Adults 5 to 7,5 ml 3 times a day.

    Dosage of the drug is done using a measuring cup.

    The course of treatment is determined by the severity of the disease, the minimum course of treatment should be 1 week.To fix the therapeutic effect, it is recommended that after the disappearance of the symptoms of the disease continue the treatment for another 2-3 days. If there is no improvement, you need to see a doctor.

    Shake before use!

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Very rarely, when the drug is used, a laxative effect (due to the sorbitol content) can be observed.

    Overdose:

    Taking a dose that is significantly higher than the prescribed daily dose (more than 3 times) can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. In this case, the patient should consult a doctor. Treatment: discontinuation of the drug; symptomatic therapy.

    Interaction:

    The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult to cough up thinned phlegm.

    Special instructions:

    The drug does not contain alcohol, sugar and dyes.

    During storage, slight turbidity of the syrup and slight changes in taste are possible, which does not affect the therapeutic effect of the preparation.

    Patients with diabetes should take into account that 2.5 ml of syrup contain 0.963 g of sorbitol, which corresponds to 0.08 XE.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    Form release / dosage:Syrup.
    Packaging:

    To 100 ml or 200 ml in bottles of dark glass with a polyethylene dosing plug, screwed on the lid and a measuring cap. Each vial with instructions for use is placed in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    At a temperature not higher than +25 ° С.

    Shelf life after opening the bottle is 3 months.
