active substances: retinol palmitate (vitamin A) 2.75 mg (5000 IU), thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B₁) 2 mg, riboflavin (vitamin B₂) 2 mg, nicotinamide 15 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B₆) 2 mg, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 70 mg;

Excipients: wheat flour baking, starch syrup, talc, sunflower oil, sucrose, beeswax, essential oil, mint rectified, dye quinoline yellow E-104.

Description:

Dragee from a yellowish-orange to a greenish-yellow color of a spherical shape, uniform in color with a characteristic odor.

Pharmacodynamics:

Complex multivitamin preparation, the effect of which is due to the effects of its constituent vitamins.

Retinol palmitate (vitamin A) - fat-soluble vitamin, plays an important role in oxidation-reduction processes, participates in the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, proteins, lipids. Promotes normal sperm and oogenesis, placenta development, growth, normal development and differentiation of embryonic tissues, incl. epithelial structures and bone tissue. Participates in the formation of visual pigments necessary for normal twilight and color vision; ensures the integrity of epithelial tissues, regulates the growth of bones.

Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin AT₁) - as a coenzyme involved in carbohydrate metabolism, the functioning of the nervous system.

Riboflavin (vitamin AT₂) - the most important catalyst for the processes of cellular respiration and visual perception.

Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B₆) - as a coenzyme takes part in protein metabolism and synthesis of neurotransmitters.

Nicotinamide - participates in the processes of tissue respiration, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) - participates in the oxidation of a number of biologically active substances, regulation of the components of connective tissue, carbohydrate metabolism, blood coagulability and regeneration (restoration) of tissues; stimulates the formation of steroid hormones; normalizes the permeability of capillaries.

Indications:

Prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis.

Applied to increase the body's resistance to infectious and colds; to improve visual acuity in persons whose work requires increased attention; with prolonged treatment with antibiotics.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy.

Dosing and Administration:

Dragee "Hexavit" is prescribed after meals for the prevention of hypovitaminosis by 1 tablet a day, in other cases - adults - 1 tablet 3 times a day; for children: from 3 to 7 years - 1 tablet 2 times a day, over 7 years - 1 tablet 3 times a day.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions to the components of the drug are possible.

Special instructions:

It is possible to stain urine yellow - completely harmless and due to the presence of riboflavin in the preparation.

Do not take concomitantly with other vitamin preparations to avoid an overdose.

Packaging:

For 50 dragees in a jar of orange glass or in a jar of polymer. Each bank along with the instruction for use is placed in a pack of cardboard.
