    Composition:

    Active substance: Ichthyol (ihtammol) 0.2 g.

    Basis for the suppository: solid fat (vitepsol W 35) 0.98 g, emulsifier "Hard-2" (T-2) 0.05 g; suppository weight 1.23 g.

    Description:

    Suppositories of dark brown color, with the smell of ichthyol, torpedo-shaped, with a maximum diameter of 1.2 cm.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial (bactericidal against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes), local analgesic, antiseptic, keratoplastic action.With direct action on the mucosa causes a slight irritation of sensitive nerve endings, followed by a decrease in their sensitivity, which leads to the appearance of reflexes that alter trophic tissue.

    It causes denaturation of protein molecules.

    Indications:

    Salpingoophoritis, endometritis, prostatitis in the complex therapy.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity.

    Children under 12 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Since the drug does not have a teratogenic, mutagenic and carcinogenic effect, its use in pregnant and lactating mothers is permitted.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Adults and children over 12 years of age.

    Rectal: 1 candle 1-2 times a day after cleansing enema or spontaneous bowel cleansing.

    Incompatible in solutions with iodide salts, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals.
