    Composition:

    In 100 g of ointment with a concentration of active ingredient 10% contains:

    active substance: ichthyol (ihtammol) 10.0 g;

    Excipients: Vaseline 90.0 g.

    In 100 g of ointment with a concentration of active ingredient 20% contains:

    active substance: ichthyol (ihtammol) 20.0 g;

    Excipients: Vaseline 80.0 g.

    Description:

    Ointment is dark brown with a characteristic odor.

    Pharmacodynamics:Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial (bactericidal against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes), keratoplastic action.Accelerates ripening of boils. With direct action on the skin causes a slight irritation of sensitive nerve endings, followed by a decrease in their sensitivity, which leads to the appearance of reflexes that alter trophic tissue. It causes denaturation of protein molecules.
    Pharmacokinetics:

    Absorption is low.

    Indications:

    Erysipelas, eczema, pyoderma (including furunculosis), stationary and regressing stages of psoriasis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug.

    Children under 12 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    During pregnancy and lactation, the use of the drug is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus or the baby.

    Dosing and Administration:
