    Composition:

    For one suppository:

    Active substance: Ichthyol (ihtammol) 0.2 g.

    Excipients: Purified water - 0,038 g, Emulsifier "Hard - 2" (T-2) - 0,05 g.

    Description:

    Suppositories of dark brown color with a characteristic smell, torpedo shape, with a maximum diameter of 1.2 cm.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Anti-inflammatory drug, has a local anesthetic, antiseptic effect. The anti-inflammatory effect is associated with the inhibition of the release of inflammatory mediators. With rectal administration, the drug has an irritant effect on the rectal mucosa, resulting in a reflex increase in blood circulation in the pelvic organs, improves metabolism, which helps to eliminate inflammation in the prostate gland in men, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus in women.

    Indications:Salpingoophoritis, endometritis, prostatitis in the complex therapy.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children under 18 years.
    Pregnancy and lactation:During pregnancy and lactation, the drug is used with caution, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Rectal: 1 suppository 1-2 times a day after cleansing enema or spontaneous bowel cleansing. The duration of treatment is determined by the attending physician.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions, a burning sensation in the anus.
