    Pharmacodynamics:

    Adapalene is a retinoid metabolite, has a comedonolytic and anti-inflammatory activity, normalizes the processes of keratinization and epidermal differentiation. The mechanism of action of adapalene is based on interaction with specific γ-receptors of skin epidermal cells. As a result of the action of adapalene, in particular, the "cohesion" of epithelial cells in the mouth of the sebaceous-hair follicle decreases and the preconditions for the formation of micro-comedones decrease. Adapalen has anti-inflammatory effect in vivo and in vitro, Influencing factors of inflammation by inhibiting migration of leukocytes in the focus of inflammation and the metabolism of arachidonic acid.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Absorption of adapalene through the skin is very low (about 4% of the applied dose). Excretion from the body occurs mainly through bile.

    Indications:

    Acne.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of the drug, pregnancy, lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly. Before applying the Clenzit gel, it is necessary to clean and dry the skin of the face. With a gentle touch, apply the gel evenly to the affected area once a day before going to bed to clean, dry skin, avoiding getting the product into the eyes and lips. The therapeutic effect develops after 4-8 weeks of treatment, a persistent improvement after 3 months of treatment.

    In some cases, due to short-term skin irritation, treatment can be suspended until the symptoms of irritation disappear.

    Repeated treatment is possible after consultation with a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Skin irritation (treatment should be stopped until skin irritation disappears or frequency of application is reduced).

    Interaction:

    Since the drug does not interact with oxygen and does not break down under the influence of light, it is possible to simultaneously treat acne with drugs such as clindamycin phosphate or benzoyl peroxide.

    Special instructions:

    Avoid getting the gel in the eyes and on the lips.

    If you accidentally get the drug on the mucous eyes, mouth or nose, rinse thoroughly with warm water.

    Avoid direct sunlight. may cause skin irritation. Treatment can be continued if the solar exposure is minimized (using sunglasses and hats).

    It is not recommended simultaneous use of cosmetics with drying and irritating effect on the skin (for example, perfume or alcohol-containing funds).

    Adapalene, applied to the skin in the evening, can be combined with drugs for the treatment of blackheads, applied in the morning.
