    Pharmacodynamics:

    It has detoxification and rehydration action, stabilizes the electrolyte composition of blood plasma.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    After intravenous administration for 30-40 minutes leaves the bloodstream, accumulating in the extravasal space.

    Indications:

    Used for rehydration and as a plasma substitute for frostbites, shock, burns, diarrhea and prolonged vomiting. Used for peritonitis, intestinal obstruction, dehydration state, metabolic alkalosis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypernatremia, hyperchloremia, pulmonary and brain edema, acidosis, chronic renal failure, individual intolerance.

    Pregnancy and lactation.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Recommendations for FDA - Category C. It is used with caution in pregnancy and lactation in cases where the expected effect exceeds the risk to the fetus and newborn.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Use in children

    Intravenously drip. The daily dose is 5-10 ml / kg of weight at a rate of 30-60 drops per minute.

    Adults

    Intravenously drip, at a rate of 60-80 drops per minute.

    The highest daily dose: 50 ml / kg.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not described.

    Treatment is symptomatic.
    Interaction:

    Enhances the toxic effects of cardiac glycosides.

    With simultaneous application with potassium-sparing diuretics, the development of hyperkalemia is possible.

    When used simultaneously with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, androgens, estrogens, anabolic steroids, vasodilators, ganglion blockers and mineralocorticoids, the risk of hypernatremia increases.

    Special instructions:

    In connection with the rapid exit from the vascular bed, the drug is used only for the purpose short-term replenishment of the circulating blood volume.
