    Composition:

    1 tablet contains:

    Active substance: nystatin 500,000 units.

    Excipients: potato starch, milk sugar, gelatin, stearic acid, talc.

    Shell composition: Tween 80, methyl cellulose water soluble, titanium dioxide, emulsion of CE-10-16, vanillin, quinoline yellow E 104.

    Description:coated tablets, light yellow color with a greenish tinge with the smell of vanillin, with a biconvex surface. Two layers are visible on the cross-section.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antibiotic of polyene group, produced by actinomycete Streptomyces noursei, highly active in yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida. In the structure of the antibiotic there are double bonds possessing high tropicity to the sterol structures of the cytoplasmic membrane of the fungi, which facilitates the incorporation of the drug molecule into the cell membrane and the formation of a large number of channels through which uncontrolled transport of electrolytes takes place; an increase in osmolarity within the cell leads to its death. Tolerance develops slowly.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    It has a weak resorptive effect practically, it is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract.

    It is excreted through the intestine. Does not possess cumulative properties.

    Indications:Prevention of candidiasis of the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract with prolonged treatment with antibacterial agents (especially in exhausted and weakened patients).
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, liver failure, pancreatitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding.

    Pregnancy and lactation:contraindicated
    Dosing and Administration:

    Apply inside, regardless of food intake.

    Adults appoint 500 000 units 4-8 times a day.

    Children aged 1 to 5 years - 250 000 units 3-4 times a day, over 13 years - 250 000-500 000 units 4 times a day.

    The duration of the course is 10-14 days. If necessary, the course can be repeated in a week.

    Side effects:Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, hyperthermia, chills, allergic reactions.
    Interaction:

    With the simultaneous use of nystatin with clotrimazole, the activity of the latter decreases.

    Form release / dosage:Tablets, coated with a coating of 500 000 units, 10 or 20 tablets in a planar cell package. For 20 tablets in a jar of dark glass glass. Each bank or 2,3,5 contour packs No. 10 or 2,3 No. 20 with instruction for use is placed in a pack of cardboard.
