    Composition:

    To prepare 1000 ml of the drug used:

    Chamomile flowers - 500 g;

    Nails flower - 250 g;

    Yarrow grass - 250 grams,

    Ethyl alcohol (ethanol) 40% - a sufficient amount to produce 1000 ml of the drug.
    Description:

    The liquid is dark brown with an orange tint and a specific smell. During storage, a deposit may occur.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    ROTOKAN has a local anti-inflammatory effect, has haemostatic and antispasmodic properties.

    Indications:

    In stomatology, ROTOKAN is used in adults with inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa of various etiologies and periodontal diseases, such as aphthous stomatitis, periodontitis, ulcerative necrotic gingivostomatitis.

    In gastroenterology ROTOCAN is used in the complex treatment of gastroduodenitis, chronic enteritis and colitis.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, impaired renal function, impaired liver function, alcoholism, craniocerebral trauma, brain disease, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, age to 18 years.
    Carefully:

    When ingestion - glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis.

    Dosing and Administration:
    Locally, orally, rectally.

    ROTOKAN is used in the form of an aqueous solution, which is prepared before use by adding 1 teaspoon of the drug to a glass of warm boiled water. With good tolerability, the dose can be increased to 3 teaspoons per glass of water.

    In dentistry, periodontal treatment is performed after removal of dental deposits and scraping of pathological gingival pockets. In the gingival pockets injected for 20 minutes, thin turuns, richly moistened with a solution of the drug. The procedure is carried out once a day daily or every other day, only 4-6 times. For diseases of the oral mucosa, the solution of the drug is used by applying (15-20 minutes) or mouthwashes (1-2 minutes) 2-3 times a day for 2-5 days.

    In gastroenterology ROTOKAN is used inside and in microclysters (rectally).Inside, apply 1 / 3-1 / 2 cup of solution 30 minutes before meals or 40-60 minutes after eating 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

    Microclysters with 50-100 ml of the drug solution are used after the cleansing enema 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-6 days.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:Up to now, there has been no record of cases of overdose. When using the drug in doses exceeding the recommended, possible: dizziness, nausea, vomiting. Treatment is symptomatic.
    Interaction:Not described.
    Special instructions:

    The composition contains not less than 33% of ethyl alcohol.

    In the maximum daily dose of an aqueous solution obtained by adding 1 teaspoon of the drug to a glass of warm boiled water, the absolute ethyl alcohol content is about 3.2 g.

    In the maximum daily dose of an aqueous solution obtained by adding 3 teaspoons of the preparation to a glass of warm boiled water, the absolute ethyl alcohol content is about 9.5 g.

    Form release / dosage:

    Extract liquid for oral administration and topical application. To 25 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml in bottles of dark glass with a screw mouth, sealed with plastic caps and plastic screw caps. Each bottle, along with instructions for medical use, is placed in a pack of cardboard for consumer containers.
