    Extract liquid

    Composition:

    To prepare 1000 ml of the drug you need: Chamomile flowers - 500 grams, Flower nails - 250 grams, Yarrow grass - 250 grams, ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 40% - enough to produce 1000 ml of the drug.

    Description:

    The liquid is dark brown with an orange tint and a specific smell. During storage, a deposit may occur.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Rotokan has a local anti-inflammatory effect, has haemostatic and antispasmodic properties.

    Indications:

    In stomatology: inflammatory diseases of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and periodontium of various etiology (aphthous stomatitis, periodontitis, ulcerative necrotic gingivostomatitis).

    In gastroenterology: gastroduodenitis, chronic enteritis and colitis (in complex treatment).

    Contraindications:

    Violations of liver function, alcoholism, trauma or brain disease. Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children's age (under 18 years).

    Dosing and Administration:

    Locally, orally, rectally.

    Rotokan is used in the form of an aqueous solution, which is prepared before use by adding 1 teaspoon of rotokan to a glass of warm boiled water. With good tolerability, the dose can be increased to 3 teaspoons per glass of water.

    In diseases of the oral mucosa, the solution of rotochans is used by applying (15-20 minutes) or rinsing (1-2 minutes)

    2-3 times a day for 2-5 days. Periodontal treatment is performed after removal of dental deposits and scraping of pathological gingival pockets. In the gingival pockets injected for 20 minutes, thin turuns, plentifully moistened with a solution of rotochans. The procedure is carried out once a day daily or every other day, only 4-6 times.

    In gastroenterology, rotokan is used inside and in microclysters. Inside, apply 1/3 - 1/2 cup of solution 30 minutes before meals or 40-60 minutes after meals, 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

    Microclysters with 50-100 ml of rothocan solution are used after cleansing enema 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-6 days.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Special instructions:

    The maximum daily dose of the drug contains 9.5 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol.

    Extract liquid for oral administration and topical application of 25, 50, 110 ml of the drug in vials.

    Packaging:

    Extract liquid for ingestion and topical application of 25, 50, 110 ml of the drug in flasks of orange glass type PV.

    For 110 ml of the drug in flasks of orange glass type PVB or FVZH. on 25 ml of a preparation in bottles-droppers of orange glass of type FK.

    Each vial, a dropper bottle is placed in a pack of cardboard, which shows the full text of the instructions for medical use.

    Vials of 25, 50, 110 ml or bottles of a dropper of 25 ml without a bundle together with instructions for medical use are placed in a group container.
