    Composition:Bearberry leaves
    Description:
    Pieces of leaves of different shapes from light green to dark green with brownish-green, light brown and brown impregnations, pieces of petioles and rarely thin stems passing through a sieve with apertures 3 mm in size. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is strongly astringent, bitterish.

    Pharmacodynamics:
    Has anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antiseptic action.

    Indications:
    In the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the urinary bladder and urinary tract (cystitis, urethritis).

    Contraindications:
    Hypersensitivity to the drug. Acute renal failure, acute glomerulonephritis, pregnancy, children under 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:
    About 10 grams (1 tablespoon) of leaves are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes. It is cooled at room temperature for 10 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. The infusion is prepared in a similar manner,

    only heated for 15 minutes, and cooled (before filtration and pressing) - 45 minutes.
    Take inside, in the form of a warm broth or infusion, 1 tablespoon G-5-times a day, 40 minutes after eating. The course of treatment is 20-25 days. It is possible to repeat the course after a 10-12-day break, but not more than 4 courses a year.
    Before use, the broth and infusion should be shaken.

    Side effects:
    When taking large doses of drugs bearberry or with their long-term use, there may be an exacerbation of inflammatory diseases of the kidney and kidney in the result of the acute irritation of the renal tubules.
    There may be allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; staining the urine in a dark green color.
