Pharmacodynamics:

Decoction leaves bearberry has anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antiseptic effect.

Indications:

In the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the urinary bladder and urinary tract (cystitis, urethritis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute renal failure, acute glomerulonephritis, pregnancy, children under 12 years.

Dosing and Administration:

About 9 grams (1 tablespoon) of leaves are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, then filter without cooling, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take inside 1 tablespoon 3-5 times a day 40 minutes after eating. The course of treatment is 20 - 25 days. It is possible to repeat the course after a 10-12 day break, but not more than 4 courses a year.

It is recommended to stir up the broth before use.

Side effects:

When taking large doses of drugs bearberry or with their long-term use, there may be an exacerbation of inflammatory diseases of the kidneys as a result of prolonged irritation of the renal tubules.

Allergic reactions are possible; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; staining the urine in a dark green color.
