    Composition:Bearberry leaves
    Description:
    Ground raw materials. Pieces of leaves of different shapes from light green to dark green with brownish-green, light brown and brown impregnations. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is strongly astringent, bitterish.

    Pharmacodynamics:
    Preparations bearberry have anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antiseptic effect.

    Indications:
    In the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the urinary bladder and urinary tract (cystitis, urethritis).

    Contraindications:
    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute renal failure, acute glomerulonephritis, pregnancy, children under 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:
    About 9 grams (1 tablespoon) of leaves are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, filter without cooling through a double layer of gauze, the remaining raw materials squeeze out. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
    Take 1 tablespoon 3-5 times a day 40 minutes after eating. The course of treatment is 20-25 days. It is possible to repeat the course after a 10-12 day break, but not more than 4 courses a year.
    Before use, the broth should be shaken.

    Side effects:
    When taking large doses of the drug bearberry or with their long-term use, there may be an exacerbation of inflammatory phenomena inurinary system as a result of prolonged irritation of the renal tubules. Allergic reactions are possible; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; staining the urine in a dark green color.
