    Composition:

    Ammonia water concentrated - 44 ml, purified water - up to 100 ml.

    Description:Transparent, colorless, volatile liquid with a characteristic sharp smell of ammonia.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    When inhaled, it irritates the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract and reflexively excites the respiratory and vasomotor centers. Has a disinfecting effect on the skin. In large doses, the ammonia solution can cause reflex stopping of breathing.

    Indications:

    It is used as an emergency aid in cases of syncope, poisoning with alcohol and other substances. In surgical practice for washing hands, as well as for neutralizing acid toxins with insect and snake bites.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity. Local application of ammonia solution is contraindicated for dermatitis, eczema and other skin diseases.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Data on the effect on the body during pregnancy and lactation are absent.
    Dosing and Administration:

    They are used as an emergency aid for excitation of respiration and excretion of patients from syncope, for which a piece of cotton wool soaked with a preparation is brought to the nasal aperture by inhalation, carefully (no closer than 0.5-1 cm). For the manifestation of vomiting, the drug is administered orally 5 to 10 drops per 100 ml of water.For washing hands, use a solution of ammonia (25 ml per 5 liters of warm boiled water). When biting insects are used externally as lotions.

    Side effects:

    The respiratory arrest (reflex, when inhaled in high concentration), hypersalivation, perspiration in the throat, hyperemia of the oral mucosa. Burns of the esophagus and stomach (taking the undiluted drug inside).

    Interaction:

    Neutralizes acids.

    Form release / dosage:A solution of 10%.
    Packaging:

    In ampoules of 1 ml. For 10 ampoules or ampoules with a braid with instructions for application and a knife for opening ampoules or scarifier ampullum in a box of cardboard.

    For 10, 25, 40, 50, 100 ml in vials of type PV or FVL. Each vial with instructions for use in a pack of cardboard. 10 ml in bottles of dark glass, each bottle in a pack.
    Storage conditions:

    In normal conditions, out of reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    5 years. Do not use after the time specified on the package.
