    Description:Clear colorless liquid
    Pharmacotherapeutic group:Rehydrating agent
    ATX: & nbsp

    B.05.B.B.01   Electrolytes

    Pharmacodynamics:

Combined saline solution, detoxifying, plasma-substituting, rehydrating, diuretic, anti-shocks, anti-aggregative action. Reduces hypovolemia, prevents blood clots and the development of metabolic acidosis, increases diuresis, improves microcirculation.

    Pharmacokinetics:

It is excreted by the kidneys.

    Indications:

Dehydration, intoxication on the background of dehydration (acute shigellosis, food toxicoinfection, cholera).

    Contraindications:

Hyperkalemia, alkalosis, chronic renal and heart failure, the presence of contraindications to the introduction of large quantities of liquid into the body.

    Carefully:

Large volumes of the drug should be used with caution in patients with impaired renal excretory function.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

The use of the drug during pregnancy is possible only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus. It should refrain from breastfeeding during the period of use of the drug because of the lack of relevant clinical data.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Intravenously (struino and drip).

The drug is used only for moderate and severe conditions when it is impossible to take solutions for oral rehydration.

The doses and the speed of administration are set individually, depending on the indications and the patient's condition, in an amount necessary to restore the water electrolyte balance, but not less than 1 liter; Children are injected at least 15 ml / kg. With heavy forms of the disease drug Chlosol injected for 1-3 hours in / in struyno, then jet infusion adults are replaced by a drop, for 24-48 hours at a rate of 40-120 cap / min; children - in a dose of 20-25 ml / kg.

When severe intoxication in adults, the drug is administered at a dose of up to 2-3 l / day in combination with other detoxification preparations; in children 30-35 ml / kg / day. The drug solution is administered in amounts necessary to restore the volume of fluid lost with feces, vomiting, urine, sweat.

The balance of injected and lost fluid is determined every 6 hours.

    Side effects:

    Edema, tachycardia, chills, hyperkalemia.

    Overdose:

An early sign of potassium intoxication is paresthesia. Sometimes there can be a paradoxical reaction - an increase in the number of extrasystoles. In these cases, the drug is replaced with a solution of Disol until the electrolyte balance is normalized.

    Interaction:

It can be used in combination with colloidal solutions (preparations of dextran, low-molecular povidone, gelatin, etc.); it is also compatible with donor blood, erythromass, plasma and other blood preparations. Do not interfere with the appointment of commonly used anti-shock drugs, including drugs for neuroleptanalgesia (fentanyl, droperidol), benzodiazepines (diazepam , etc.), as well as muscle relaxants (suxamethonium hydrochloride, etc.), inhibitors of proteolysis (aprotinin) and alpha-adrenomimetics (dopamine, epinephrine).

When combined with other drugs, it is necessary to visually control the pharmaceutical incompatibility.

    Special instructions:

In general, with dehydration, oral solutions for oral rehydration are indicated, and only when this method is not possible (for one reason or another) is the drug Chlosol introduced.

Before use, the solution must be heated to body temperature. Treatment is carried out under the control of hematocrit and the concentration of electrolytes of blood, arterial pressure, electrocardiogram, diuresis.

In the case of hyperkalemia, the drug is replaced with a solution of Disol until the electrolyte balance is normalized.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

Clinical studies to assess the effect of the drug on the ability to manage vehicles and mechanisms have not been conducted.
