Pharmacodynamics:

The combined preparation is balanced taking into account the daily requirement for vitamins and minerals in children. Compatibility of components is provided by a special technology for the production of vitamin-mineral complexes.

The effect of the drug is due to the effects of its constituent components:

Retinol (vitamin A) - ensures the functional activity of the organs of sight. It is necessary for a healthy skin, teeth, hair.

α-Tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) - has antioxidant properties, prevents damage to cells; has a positive effect on the functions of nervous and muscle tissue.

Kolekaltsiferol (vitamin D₃) - regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, contributing to the process of osteogenesis. With a deficiency, calcium homeostasis and phosphorus metabolism are disrupted, muscle strength and tone decrease. It is necessary for the normal formation of bones and teeth.

Thiamine (vitamin B₁) - participates in carbohydrate metabolism, normalizes the work of the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

Riboflavin (vitamin B₂) - the most important catalyst for the processes of cellular respiration and visual perception. Participates in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, as well as in the synthesis of hemoglobin and erythropoietin.

Pyridoxine (vitamin B₆) - takes part in protein metabolism and the synthesis of neurotransmitters.

Indications:

Prevention of deficiency of vitamins and minerals included in the drug in children from 3 to 10 years:

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Children under 3 years.

Hypervitaminosis A. Hypervitaminosis D. Impaired thyroid function. Phenylketonuria.

Deficiency of sugar / isomaltase, intolerance to fructose, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Dosing and Administration:

The drug is taken orally after a meal. The tablet should be chewed and washed down with a small amount of water.

Children from 3 to 6 years 1 tablet 1 time per day, from 6 up to 10 years - 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Overdose:

If the therapeutic dose is repeatedly exceeded, there may be vomiting, diarrhea, muscle weakness, vitamin A-induced hypervitaminosis and D₃.

In case of overdose, see a doctor.

Treatment: temporary discontinuation of the drug, gastric lavage, intake of activated charcoal inside, symptomatic treatment.

Interaction:

It is not recommended simultaneous use of other multivitamin complexes in order to avoid an overdose.

The drug contains calcium, so delays absorption of antibiotics from the group of tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones in the intestine.

Special instructions:

To avoid an overdose, you must strictly follow the dosage regimen.

When allergic reactions to the components of the drug occur, the drug should be discontinued.

It is possible to stain urine in a bright yellow color, which is completely harmless and is explained by the presence of riboflavin in the formulation.
