Mamoclam - instructions for use, doses, side effects, contraindications

Active Ingredients: "Clam" is a lipid complex obtained by saponification of a concentrate isolated from dried laminaria thalli (with the content of a sum of higher fatty acids 30%, iodine 0.1% in terms of dry matter) - 0.100 g.

Auxiliary substances for nuclear preparation: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, sucrose, potato starch, magnesium carbonate, calcium stearate, povidone, silicon dioxide colloid (aerosil).

Shell composition: hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 6000, chlorophyll-copper.

Description:

Round, biconcave tablets covered with a matte film shell from greenish to light green. On a cut, the pills are light brown with small impregnations of a darker and lighter shade with a specific odor.

Pharmacodynamics:

Mamoclam® has a curative effect in fibrocystic breast disease (mastopathy). Reduces the manifestations of mastalgia, premenstrual syndrome, leads to regression of the cysts, normalizes the proliferation of the epithelium of the mammary glands.

Indications:

Treatment of mastopathy in the form of monotherapy, as well as in the complex therapy.

Contraindications:

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

- severe kidney disease;

- hyperthyroidism;

- toxic adenoma of the thyroid gland, multinodular goiter;

- furunculosis, chronic pyoderma;

- hemorrhagic diathesis.

Pregnancy and lactation:

During pregnancy and lactation, iodine can be used only in physiological doses: not more than 250 mg per day.

Dosing and Administration:

The drug Mamoclam is used inside before meals, a single dose of 1-2 tablets, 2-3 times a day at regular intervals throughout the day (daily dose of 3-6 tablets), the duration of treatment from one to three months.

If necessary, it is recommended to repeat the course of treatment after a break from 2 weeks to 3 months.

Side effects:

Mamoclam is usually well tolerated. A small number of patients have the following side effects.

Manifestations of individual intolerance, mainly in the form of skin itching, redness of the skin and skin rashes.

From the gastrointestinal tract: heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea.

With prolonged use - the phenomenon of iodism (including rhinitis, Quincke's edema, salivation, lacrimation, acne).

Overdose:

There were no overdose phenomena in the application of Mamoclam®.

Interaction:

When using Mamoclam® in therapeutic doses, the body receives iodine in doses slightly exceeding the recommended physiological dose of this trace element, therefore, Mamoclam® should not be used with preparations containing iodine.

Special instructions:Treatment of mastopathy is recommended to be performed under the supervision of a doctor of an oncologist or gynecologist.

Form release / dosage:Tablets, film-coated, 100 mg.

Packaging:

For 20, 30 tablets in a jar of orange glass or 40 tablets in cans of polymer or 10, 20 tablets in a contour mesh box made of polyvinylchloride film and aluminum foil. The can or 2 or 4 contour packs are placed in a cardboard pack together with instructions for use. It is allowed to put the text of the instructions for use on the pack.

Storage conditions:

In a dry place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C. Keep out of the reach of children.
