    Pharmacodynamics:

    Stimulates reparative processes at lesions of the skin and mucous membranes of different etiology (radiation, burn, ulcer). Pharmacological action is due to the presence in the sea buckthorn oil of carotene (provitamin A), tocopherols (vitamin E) and other lipophilic substances.

    Indications:

    In complex therapy as a wound healing remedy, with radiation injuries and burns of the skin and mucous membranes; in gastroenterology - with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum; in gynecology - colpitis, endocervicitis, erosion of the cervix; in proctology - in adults and children with hemorrhoids, cracks in the rectum.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to drug; for ingestion - cholecystitis, cholangitis, pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, hepatitis; for rectal administration - diarrhea; children's age till 14 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Perhaps if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly, topically, inside.

    Outwardly: with skin lesions in the form of oil dressings. On the previously cleared skin from the necrotic tissues, sea ​​buckthorn oil, and then a cotton-gauze dressing, which is changed every other day. Treatment is carried out until the appearance of granulations.

    Locally: in colpitis, endocervicitis, cervical erosion, hemorrhoids, rectal cracks are used in the form of tampons, richly impregnated with sea-buckthorn oil. The course of treatment for colpitis 10-15 procedures; endocervicitis, erosion, cervical uteri 8-12 procedures; with hemorrhoids, rectal cracks 5-7. procedures.

    Inside: at peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, take 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day for 3-4 weeks.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions; burning (with external and local application), with ingestion: bitter taste in the mouth, diarrhea, biliary colic.

    Overdose:There are no data on cases of drug overdose.
