    Pharmacodynamics:

    It stimulates regenerative processes in the skin and mucous membranes, promotes rapid healing of injured tissues. It has antioxidant and cytoprotective effect, in this connection it shows general strengthening properties. Pharmacological action is due to the presence in the sea-buckthorn oil of carotene (provitamin A), tocopherol (vitamin E) and other lipophilic substances. Due to the presence of fat-soluble bioantioxidants reduces free radical processes and protects against damage to the cell membranes; lowers the level of cholesterol and lipids in the blood, inhibits the activity of gastric proteases.
