    Characteristic

    Sea-buckthorn oil contains a mixture of carotene and carotenoids (at least 130 mg%), amounts of tocopherols (not less than 110 mg%), chlorophyll compounds (not more than 100 mg%), glycerides of oleic, linoleic, palmitic and stearic acids.

    Pharmacological properties

    Stimulates reparative processes in the skin and mucous membranes of various etiology (radiation, burn, ulcer, etc.). Pharmacological action is due to the presence in the sea buckthorn oil of carotene (provitamin A), tocopherols (vitamin E) and other lipophilic substances.

    Indications:

    As a wound-healing agent in complex therapy for skin and mucous membrane damage: in gastroenterology - with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum; in gynecology - with colpitis, endocervicitis, cervical erosion; in surgery - for stimulation of reparative processes in case of wound damage to the skin, radiation injuries, burns.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the drug.

    When administered orally: inflammatory processes in the gallbladder, liver, pancreas, cholelithiasis.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Apply inside, topically and externally.

    With gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer take inside 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day for 3-4 weeks.
