Taurine-DIA - instructions for use, dose, side effects, contraindications

Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that forms in the body in the process conversion of cysteine. The drug contributes to the improvement of energy processes, stimulates reparative processes in diseases of a dystrophic nature and processes accompanied by a sharp disruption of the metabolism of the eye tissues. As a sulfur-containing amino acid the drug contributes to the normalization of the function of cellular membranes, improvement of energy and metabolic processes, preservation of electrolyte the composition of the cytoplasm due to the accumulation of potassium and calcium ions, and improvement of the conditions for the generation of a nerve impulse.

Pharmacokinetics:With topical application, systemic absorption is low.

Indications:

Seniors, diabetic, traumatic and radiation cataracts; trauma of the cornea (as a stimulant of reparative processes).

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, age to 18 years, pregnancy and lactation.

Dosing and Administration:

When cataracts are prescribed for 1-2 drops 2-4 times a day for 3 months.

The course is repeated at a monthly interval.

In case of trauma, the cornea is used in the same doses for one month.

Eye Drops 4% in glass or polymer bottles of 5 or 10 ml.

Storage conditions:At a temperature not higher than 25 ° C in a place inaccessible to children.

Shelf life:

4 years in glass bottles, 3 years in polymer bottles.Do not use the product after the expiry date printed on the package.

Shelf life after opening the bottle is 14 days.
