    Tablets of black color, flat-cylindrical, with a facet, slightly rough.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The drug has an adsorptive detoxification, antidiarrheal effect. It sorbs gases, toxins, alkaloids, glycosides, salts of heavy metals, salicylates, barbiturates and other compounds; reduces their absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and promotes excretion from the body. Does not irritate the mucous membranes. For maximum effect, it is recommended to take immediately after poisoning or during the first hours. When treating intoxication, it is necessary to create an excess of coal in the stomach (before washing it) and in the intestine (after washing the stomach). Reducing the concentration of coal in the medium promotes desorption of the bound substance and its absorption (to prevent the resorption of the released substance, it is recommended to rinse the stomach and the purpose of the coal). The presence of food masses in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) requires the introduction of high doses, as the content of the gastrointestinal tract is sorbed by coal and its activity decreases. If the poisoning is caused by substances involved in enterohepatic circulation (cardiac glycosides, indomethacin, morphine and other opiates), it is necessary to use coal for several days.

    Indications:

    Dyspepsia, diseases accompanied by rotting and fermentation in the intestines, flatulence, increased acidity, diarrhea, acute poisoning (alkaloids, glycosides, heavy metal salts), food poisoning, dysentery, salmonellosis, burn disease, chronic; renal failure, hepatitis, cirrhosis, atopic dermatitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, bleeding from the digestive tract.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside. To accelerate the action of the tablet is recommended to grind.

    With flatulence, dyspepsia, increased acidity of 0.25-1.5 g 3-4 times a day for 1-2 hours before or after eating and taking other medicines.

    In diseases accompanied by fermentation and putrefaction in the intestine, increased secretion of gastric juice, the course of treatment is 1-2 weeks.

    When poisoning and intoxication - in the form of an aqueous suspension of adults 10 g 3 times a day in between meals; children under 7 years - 5 grams, 7-14 years - 7 g per reception. The duration of the course is 3-15 days.

    Side effects:

    Dyspepsia, constipation or diarrhea; with prolonged use - hypovitaminosis, a decrease in absorption from the gastrointestinal tract of nutrients (fats, proteins), hormones.

    Interaction:

    Reduces the absorption and effectiveness of drugs taken simultaneously with activated carbon.

    Special instructions:

    It is recommended to store in a dry place, separate from substances emitted into the atmosphere by gases or vapors. Storage in air (especially wet) reduces sorption capacity.

    Form release / dosage:

    Tablets 250 mg and 500 mg.

    Packaging:

    For 10 tablets in a contour mesh box made of polyvinylchloride film and foil of aluminum printed lacquered or paper with a polymer coating.

    For 10 tablets in a contour non-cellular package of paper with a polyethylene coating or with a polymer coating.

    It is allowed to apply the full text of the instructions for use on the contour non-jawed packaging.

    2,4,10 contour squares, together with instructions for use, are placed in a pack of cardboard for consumer containers.

    100, 200, 400, 500, 600 contour non-jammed packages with an equal number of instructions for use (if the text of the instruction for use is not applied to the package) is placed in a polyethylene hermetically sealed bag of polyethylene unstabilized film.

    1 plastic bag is placed in a box of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    In a dry place.

    Keep out of the reach of children.
    Shelf life:

    3 years.
